"I'm a huge fan of The Cure, and i dig much of what comes out on Cleopatra Records, so when i saw that Cleopatra had released a Cure tribute CD, it was a no-brainer for me to pick it up. While there are some decent bits here and there, many of the tracks are simply awful, and this album comes off as little more than a collection of techno and darkwave versions of Cure songs... and i'm not really much into techno and darkwave. Truthfully speaking, the only song i truly find interesting here is The Electric Hellfire Club's "Killing an Arab", and that's only because of the Jerky Boys samples therein. Quite telling when the only most interesting aspect of a Cure tribute is the usage a Jerky Boys samples..."
