"The Brides second EP: the dancy hit-sounding "Hi!", the punk-rock march of "The Infinity Hotel", the James Bond-meets-feedback of "We Are Still Ladies and Gentlemen Here" and the frantic alcoholic speedfest of "Stomache". Founders Corey Gorey and D.W. Friend keep things interesting with their stylized and perhaps absurdist attempt at writing refined mod music and dark pop. However, the results tend to sound more like very creative deathrock-horrorpunk that cannot be directly compared to anything you've heard before. Whatever parallels can be made "Baby Girls Are Much More Tender" should satisfy both fans of Pulp, The Misfits, as well as your early The Cure & Siouxsie fanatics..."
