To honor and remember Maila Nurmi a.k.a. Vampira, Sid Terror's UNDEAD, voice of The Horror Drunx° worldwide just uploaded their song "Vampira Goes To Hollywood" to band's Myspace profile.
As Sid Terror speaks: "Maila was a good friend of mine since the early 1980's. The news of her death has devistated me. When we included this song on our 1997 album "The Melted By Sun Sessions", she was overjoyed.
She told me on several occasions that out of all the songs that had been recorded about her, the Bobby Bare song in 1958, the song by The Misfits, etc. This was by far her favorite and felt it had really captured what she was about more than any other. I'm sure it helped that we were very close and that this song was written after years of conversations with her.
